I thought I could use this mini PC for recording my N64 gameplay using a capture card and OBS.
Turns out, this thing runs hot enough to cook an egg, is really crashy, and has terrible linux support. So I’m getting rid of it.
I actually bought TWO of them.
A Gole 1 and a Gole 2 pro. Neither of them were up to the task. Too unstable, too hot, and obs or the entire system would crash anywhere from 5 minutes to 5 hours.
