I’ve discovered a foolproof way to get free money at the expense of others!

Step 1: buy bitcoin on eBay

Step 2: wait about a month

Step 3: do a payment reversal on Paypal, claiming that the purchase was an unauthorized payment.

Step 4: wait while paypal/eBay goes through the resolution process. Since nothing was physically shipped, ebay/paypal will side with you.

Step 5: Profit!

I’ve discovered this exploit of the system because I’ve sold bitcoin on eBay. almost half of the transactions have ended up being fraudulent, and I’ve lost money. Boo.

Moral of the story is don’t sell bitcoin on eBay.
